DC College Access Program Receives Gift from MacKenzie Scott to Advance College Completion for DC Students

Washington, D.C. — The DC College Access Program (DC CAP Scholars) is honored to be among the organizations supported by MacKenzie Scott this year. The organization is deeply grateful for this generous investment, which comes at a pivotal moment in DC CAP’s growth and impact across the District.

This contribution follows a year of significant momentum for DC CAP, marked by expanded reach, stronger outcomes for scholars, and continued progress toward improving college completion rates for DC students. The gift reflects growing national confidence in DC CAP’s mission: ensuring students not only access college but persist through graduation to launch strong careers.
