Supporting DC-CAP is easy. Simply designate DC-CAP as a recipient
of your contribution on your United Way (#8118) or Combined Federal
Campaign (CFC #35078) forms, or call (202) 783-7933.
- Double and triple the number of DC public high school students
enrolling and graduating from college — promoting the importance
of a college education
- Empower the DC-CAP advisors located in 19 DCPS locations
- Assist DCPS seniors and their parents with the college application
process
- Aid in motivating DCPS students to prepare for, attend and graduate
- Supplement the Last Dollar Award scholarship grants
- Overcome the hurdles DC-CAP college students face on a daily
basis
- Enable the DC-CAP Retention Services Division staff to support
the college
students for up to five years of college
- Support the increasing costs of college scholarships and counseling
because, unfortunately, as more and more young residents of DC
stay in school the cost of education escalates for DC-CAP
