DC-CAP hosts its annual celebrity golf event at the beautiful Lansdowne Conference Center and Resort, located in Lansdowne, Virginia during the early fall months.  Celebrities in attendance have included such people as Donald Graham, Tony Kornheiser, Michael Wilbon, James Brown, Cal Ripken, The Honorable Robert Ehrlich (Governor of Maryland), and distinguished members of the US Congress, corporate business professionals, staff and volunteers.  Over 200 people gather annually fo this great charity event.

Last year, in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Michael Wilbon and James Brown Golf Classic, the two-day event featured a Celebrity Roast held in the Riverside Hearth Room at the Lansdowne Resort. Mike and JB were on the hot seat while their celebrity friends, including the likes of Magic Johnson and other notables from the sports and media world, made lighthearted jokes and shared stories from their careers.

This year's Golf Tournament and Celebrity Roast will be held on September 19th and 20th.  The golf tournament will raise funds for DC-CAP, and provide support for DC public and public charter high school students and college students who might otherwise not have the opportunity to receive a college education.  To register for this event or learn more about sponsorship information, please visit www.dccap.org/golf.
